• Student Body: Personally, I believe that Arizona Western College needs to implement a project that will help students interact with each other in a positive way. From my experience, I can say that from 25 students only 5 students participate in class. I do not know if it is because they are shy, but I have noticed that our overall interaction is really poor. This college is full of Hispanics, followed by white people, African-American and some Asian origin students. I have met a few people from other countries, and I think that maybe what this college needs is to have more students from all around the world, in order to create a multicultural environment.
• Academic Experience: My specific major is in Elementary Education, and I can say that all advisers and professors had helped me to complete all my requirements to rapidly get my Associates degree. I was able to enroll in a great program called AWC2NAU, that is helping me to successfully complete my classes at AWC in order to be able to transfer over to NAU. I was already enrolled at NAU, and in the PACTO program, which is a great program that allow students to have a connection with NAU advisers and students, that are always willing to help us with any concern. They also provide us with tutors, and grouping sessions to make sure we have no problems in any of are classes.
• Academic Experience: The academics offered at my school are great. Most of the professors have a Master's degree, or Ph. degree, and they are professionally prepared to teach their classes. The class registration process has a division, where students with more credits can register first that students with less credits.
• Campus Resources: In my opinion Arizona Western College's campus resources are great. The librarians are always willing to help you with any concerns you may have. Computers are always available for you, and the internet is very fast and effective. I am not currently related with any club organization, but from the ones I know, they are really helpful and they always want to create a friendly environment with all the campus students.*(4)
