沙漠学院（College of the Desert，缩写COC）位于加利福尼亚州棕榈沙漠（Palm Desert），是一所公立社区学院，成立于1958年，在校学生9千多人。沙漠学院也是加州社区学院系统112所学校的一员，校园占地0.65平方公里。*(1)

As a psychology major the work load was not to demanding. I was able to pass all my classes with A's and B's. The teachers were knowledgeable in their field. They had a few internship opportunities.*(4)
All of my professors encouraged their students to be successful academically. Some classes had more workload than others . Their was a wide variety of study options and the professors offered office hours.
It is frustrating being led around in circles regarding which classes I need to take and how I can transfer.*(4)
