1. Weather: Southern California! It is pretty much always sunny! No snow, and very little rain.

2. Diversity: Lots of interesting people here. You'll find just about anybody, but since this is a small school you may not find many.

3. Academics: Overall, the academics at Whittier College are great because all of the teachers teach you. There are not students (teachers aides) teaching you. Also, all of your teachers have office hours, so you can go in and ask them for help.

4. Athletics: Everyone plays on a sports team. We don't win very often. Intramurals can be fun to participate in or watch. The gym needs major improvement.

5. Greek Life: Unlike other schools, we have societies instead of sororities and fraternities. They are very low key and are simply to give students the opportunity to build a group of close knit friends.*(5)
