宗教学（Religious Studies），一般指以研究各种宗教形成、发展、变化、成果、理论、著作的一门人文学和社会科学的交叉学科。宗教学相较于神学是较新兴的学科，其与神学都以宗教为研究对象，但差异在于宗教学较由从宗教外部的各种角度来观察分析宗教，并经常与其他相关学科如社会学、人类学、心理学、历史学等结合。*(1)
