• Campus Resources: TCC is a community college, but they try real hard to make it feel like you are going to a bugger university. The resources are good. The library is well stocked with books and there are a lot of clubs and organizations you can join to enhance your experience.
• Campus Resources: There are many campuses around the Tulsa area. You are able to chose which campus you would like to attend to make it more convenient.
• Academic Experience: For all the basic courses, the professors here at TCC are very well able to render their professional expertise. I have discovered that these professors must be 'hand picked' because my journey has been most educational. I have found that the professors that I have had, thus far, are well educated and are very serious about their teachings. I had my Reading !! Professor, who happened to be a high school classmate of mine, say on a regular basis to the class, "you are paying for this education, and I am going to see that when you leave my class, that you got your monies worth", and truly Ms. Mayes gave me my money's worth! plus some.
• Academic Experience: Truthfully, I am just getting started. But the more I am in school, the more I am rethinking my major. Personally, I feel that maybe for me, I should really consider some type of counseling degree. Working with and assisting young people, showing them how to get it going, without so many self-inflicted trials and tribulations, less drama is better. And I truly feel, that with all of my experience, just maybe, I would have a good listening platform for them to latch on to.
• Campus Resources: I had knee surgery last summer and since that time, I have been going to the activity center and exercising four times weekly (and that's free). I use the library every day, and on Wednesdays, at noon, a Christian organization , feeds lunch to all the students. Because I care for my 85 year old mother, I am unable to participate in an other social activities.*(4)
