• Some teachers are great but others are really, really awful. The workload varies, but in my business program the workload really depends on the classes an specific teachers. I have had classes where all you had to do was show up. Most recently, I had a class that had a ton of work including weekly homework, weekly pop up assignments, pop quizzes, a large end of year project and smaller projects throughout the year. Facilities at the school are generally great and super clean. I am required to be places in an internship but so far the program director has failed to email me back. However, the opportunities here are large.
• The library has recently been redone but I feel like more could have been done to produce more private study areas or group areas. Computers are also very limited; its impossible to get one during busy times or around finals.
• I recently finished up my first semester, so I haven't gotten that deeply into it yet, but Psychology is such a great topic to take up. It's such great knowledge to have and has changed my perception of myself and others greatly, in a positive manner that is.
• Our academics are, hands down, the greatest thing Saint Rose has to offer in my opinion. The professors I've experienced thus far know their material well and the workload may get heavy at times, but the feeling of achievement upon completing the work in incomparable. The registration process is also fairly simple. You are given clear concise instructions of how everything is done and if you need assistance, your RA or upperclassmen are willing to assist you. In terms of studying, you can study in the comfort of your room or join the many in the library and find an area to listen to soothing music, pull out your laptop, and get your work done.
• The school is great for my major. The art program is awesome. The facilities provided for us are great. The off campus building, Picotte, is a great place to get work done because you don't have people running in and out to bother you like in Brubacher where it is loud, and echos down the stairs. Bru is still a great place to have studios because it's close to campus. *(5)
