- Core advisors help a lot!
- I'm a computer science major and I love it. My professors are always willing to help, everything is up to date, and the workload is manageable. Being in the "S.T.E.M." department, or PCSE, the department brings companies in to talk to use about internships/job opportunities, who actually want to hire CNU students.
- CNU is all about student success. Everyone is trying to help you success. They offer tutors, office hours, group studies, etc. There is plenty of space to study, especially during finals time.
- All the professors care for their students and work with them to help them achieve as long as the students are willing to work with the professors and do work. Workload is well balanced and varies from professor to professor. As to study areas, every student has their own place to study. each academic building has study areas in it, sections of the library are open 24/7, and the student union and the great lawn are great places for either studying or relaxing between classes. I personally prefer climbing into a particular tree dubbed by many students as the study tree.
- I love being a student of Computer Science at my school. Every week, the department brings in companies from around the area and around the state to talk to students about internships and careers after graduation. Teachers work with relatively small classes and professors are more available for one on one face time with students. Workload seems to be well balanced and every building is modern. In fact, one of the oldest buildings on campus is a residence hall that was constructed just over 22 years ago. Construction and expansion of the school have been happening constantly for several years now and the campus consists mostly of recently constructed buildings.*(5)
