- People in your department do what can to help you succeed
- Good professors that you succeeding
- Most of the programs offer internship opportunities.
- HBU is known to be a great academic school.
- As a Biochemistry major, the fact that there are small classes and one can get one on one time with a professor is very useful. The chemistry department and biology departments are nice enough, though it is sometimes hard to get into classes due to the small sizing.
- It is a school that one cannot just blow off. A number of incoming freshman drop out or transfer simply because it is a very serious academic school that they are not ready for. There is pressure especially in the science department to do well, and the professors are willing to work with you and help where they can.
- Tough. Every major is tough in its own aspects. Accounting is tough based on that you have to think about what information is relevant and what information you need to solve a problem. There is definitely a lot of thought put into any course in this school.
- Some of your professors are your advisers, so you get to know them better and them you. This makes registration process simpler on the students and more planned and organized on what they need to do.
- I actually enjoy it. Some classes are difficult but the more a person studies the better they will do with their future job
- It's very diverse and are plenty of classes to take.*(5)
