学生评价

• I like the major so the workload isn't bad because I like to write and read. The oppurtunities around campus are also great, we have the writing center and also things to do like reading nights, ect.
• IT is liberal art so there are mixtures of different subjects to learn. I don't know how I feel about it yet.
• Academics at IC are pretty well balanced and taught at high standards. There are lots of options as to what academic courses you may want to take but the size of the classes are sometimes too small. You could sign up for a course just to knock out a gen ed and end up in a class with nine students, most of them being seniors. Options are great but convenience is more important.
• Illinois college is a liberal arts school so it has programs that are probably not found in bigger schools or you can combined majors double and triple. i love our academic programs because they are a challenge but we have so much help there is no way you cant fail. learning how to study efficiently and adapt new study habits wasn't easy for me but i mastered it. the workload is what you can handle it better to do more hours in your freshman and sophomore. then you will have a lighter workload in your junior and sophomore. they are many study areas around campus everywhere is a study area on campus. there are places where you can seclude yourself to focus better.
• Workload is attainable. curriculum is fair. Facilities always clean and looking really nice. programs are wonderful!!
• Illinois college is a small, close-knit school, with a friendly atmosphere. The professors know every student's name and will make themselves available for you if you need them. The college offers a good amount of major options, and is very supportive of double-majors and being well-rounded with extracurricular activities.The admissions office knows each applicant by name, and your admissions counselor will continue to build a relationship with you while you are attending the college. Overall, Illinois College is a very supportive, strong, community-based college.
• This semester was challenging, but not overwhelming.
• Most professors are very helpful, but some need to make sure to keep up with their syllabus instead of leaving several papers until the end of the semester when they were originally spaced throughout the semester. The RAs are very helpful and kind. Food is decent, but there are a few questionable items.
• Small Classes, Strong Program – I'm currently a student at Illinois College, and I have been very impressed with my program so far. My major is Management and Organizational Leadership (MOL) with an Art Minor. Though the department is small, as are almost all of the departments at IC, the program is very solid and the professors are all well versed in the latest developments in their fields. Another plus is that the professors do not use TAs, but rather teach all of their classes themselves.
• Registration Process – Registering or going to the Orientation was very inviting and open and previous students were their to greet you and everything ran smoothly .* (5)
