罗德岛大学（University of Rhode Island, URI）是一所中等大小的公立综合性全国大学，成立于1892年，主校区位于美国东部小城金斯敦（Kingston, RI）。
罗德岛大学总共有4个校区，除主校区外，其余三个校区分别座落在普罗维登斯的范士丹校园（Feinstein）、纳拉甘西特的纳拉甘西特湾校区（Narragansett Bay）和西格林威治的奥尔顿·琼斯校区（W. Alton Jones）。罗德岛大学共开设有7所学术学院，提供79个本科课程和49个研究生课程，授予学生学士、硕士和博士学位。学校开设的课程包括：艺术与科学、商学、工程、人类科学、环境与生命科学、护理与药学等，另一所大学学院一切以服务本科生为主。

学校历史
罗德岛大学初建是1888年，当时只是一所农学院与农业试验站。到1892年，学校被称作罗德岛农业与机械学院。第一批学生仅招录到17名，学制2年。1909年，学校再次更名为罗德岛州立学院，学校课程也在原有基础上做了扩充和延展。1951年，学校正式命名为罗德岛大学并提供博士学位。
