Condensed matter physics is a branch of physics that deals with the physical properties of condensed phases of matter.[1] Condensed matter physicists seek to understand the behavior of these phases by using physical laws. In particular, these include the laws of quantum mechanics, electromagnetism and statistical mechanics. 凝聚态物理学是一门以物质的宏观物理性质作为主要研究对象的学科。所谓“凝聚态”指的是由大量粒子组成，并且粒子间有很强的相互作用的系统。自然界中存在着各种各样的凝聚态物质，它们深刻地影响着人们日常生活的方方面面。
