Master Climat Environnement Applications et Recherche (CLEAR-WAPE) - Track Water, Air, Pollution and Energy (WAPE)，是：地球、行星与环境科学（Earth, Planetary, and Environmental Sciences）领域的。*(1)
分M1和M2两个项目，M2要求M1毕业或与之相当的硕士水准才可以申请。M1是法语教学的。
M1的申请条件的是——
Admission requirements：
本科毕业，理科背景强大（The program is open to highly qualified French and international students with a strong scientific background who hold a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.）*(2)
Language proficiency：
尽管许多材料或资料是英语的，但M1的大多数课程都是使用法语教学的。国际学生强烈要求参加学校开设的法语语言课程（Although almost written material and slides are in English, most lectures of this M1 year are given in French. International students are strongly urged to enrol in a “French as a foreign language” course at Ecole Polytechnique.）
所以，按这句话，没有法语基础也是可以申请的，但可能需要读很长的语言的课程，因为毕竟是法语教学的课程！。*(2)
