Kathmandu, Nepal  Spring Break 2015

• Worked closely and talked a lot with people from all walks of life in Nepal; kept journals everyday; gained new information during the 16 days’ fieldwork; finished a ten-page final project paper with a seldom-discussed topic.

EUPHEMISM IN LINGUISTIC ANTHROPOLOGY      Marlboro, VT      Dec. 2014

• Gave a thirty-minute presentation discussing euphemism in different languages and cultures in perspective of Linguistic Anthropological theories and practices, with a well-organized research paper.

SINO-ISRAEL RESEARCH AND STUDY CENTER     Harbin, China     Apr. 2014-Jun. 2014

• Brought up a research topic, Ethnicity & Others: a Study of the Jewish Ethnic Group in Harbin, collected information about it and had an elementary analysis of it under the guidance of Professor and Chair Dan Ben-Canaan.
