• Student Body: Out of all the City Colleges, this may be one of the most ethnically diverse schools. There are international students, African Americans, Asians, Hispanics etc. There is so much cultural richness in this school, it's awesome!
• Campus Resources: There are many resources available on campus. There is a gym, a library, a computer lab, three lounge areas including the cafeteria, there is a daycare and my favorite the wellness center. In the wellness center, they help us when we are going through personal problems and school problems.
• Campus Resources: Admittedly, I haven't checked out the newly renovated athletic center yet... but, all the other resources are at least OK! The building is a little old and needs something to brighten it up... the elevators are crap... often one is broken. The library and computer labs are probably my favorite amenities, oh yeah, and the Veterans' Center- these are all quite good. The cafeteria (thank God!!) is being renovated this summer and will be under new management in the fall... I am hoping for the best.
• Academic Experience: I find the program to be appropriate for what we are studying. They help students stay positive and offer a lot of help to those who feel anxious or overwhelmed. The workload is heavy, but it pushes students to do their very best. It is a challenging program that builds on our knowledge and enforces responsibility which comes with any medical occupation.
• Academic Experience: Disclaimer... I have just been accepted into the nursing program. I have had little to no problems with my professors and the administration in dealing with my pre-reqs, etc. It has, however, been kind of a pain in the butt to deal with the nursing office. All I can say is, I hope it is better once I am in the midst of it.*(4)
