• Campus Resources: Library is decent, never needed much from it, the online journals you can access are helpful. There is plenty of room to study throughout the campus. The building is starting to deteriorate from water damage, not very pleasing to the eyes.
• Campus Resources: The Wifi and the printers don't always work. Wifi can be weak and the printers are limited depending on which computer's you use, limited searching and sometimes limited printing. Printer's out of order regularly.
• Academic Flexibility: It's a very convenient school, I can have a job while going to school and the cost is manageable. Not too much course work to deal with. The only hassle I have had is with individual instructors, the management of the school is great. The credits transfer to most colleges within Minnesota, I don't know about other states.
• Campus Quality: The science and medical programs are big because Rochester is the home town of the Mayo Clinic and many RCTC alumni are hired there. Not many people are there to socialize, most of my friends there I knew previously. It's a run down building with water residue marks on the ceilings everywhere, and some of the bathrooms have been out of order for most of this semester and last semester. Hardly a campus life, considered a "stepping stone" school.
• Academic Experience: The Liberal Arts program seems like a repeat of high school and I wish it would be more challenging. The work load is fair the program gives you the information you need. The job opportunities are there if you choose to use them. Overall it is a very mellow and average community college and helps if you are not prepared to go to an actually university.*(4)
