• Student Body: Highline Community College is known for its diversity. There are all kinds of people, from different places all over the world. Thankfully, I do not sense any racism. On the contrary, students seem to get along quite well, wether they be strangers or not. I have made many new friends including some from Ukraine, Laos, Japan, South Africa, and many more. There is also a great respect for religious beliefs among the student body. Students here do a great job of making life at Highline easy and fun for each other.
• Campus Resources: Most thing's listed are reliable, it's just that wireless access is pretty slow and sometimes it won't let me connect right away.
• Campus Resources: I really like the gym at school even though it is a bit small in size, but it is great place to workout. Library is great place to study, they have 5 different floors you can go to study quietly. Also, they have computers to use for your homework and projects.
• Campus Resources: School computer network is very helpful. You can use computer anytime you want. They have computers at library and computer lab where students go to work for their classes. Computer network is very reliable and speedy.
• Campus Resources: They have a big library, multiple stories. The only computer lab that I am aware of is in the library on the first floor, not many computers, but it doesn't seem like there are many students using them either. Never have to fight for a computer or wait until someone else is finished. Their wifi is not good, I couldn't get it to stay for very long.
• Campus Resources: Not to sure yet, because I haven't been to a lot of colleges but I do like the location, the surrounding clubs, social scene and fast food dining places.
• Campus Resources: Sometimes the school's own websites don't work when you're using the school wifi. I could never get the math website to load while I was on campus, but it always worked at my own house.
• Academic Experience: I am studying Visual Communications and its fun. you learn a lot of skills that are very useful. The workload is manageable when taking three to four classes due to the amount of work that requires to be a successful student.
• Academic Experience: The professors have a lot of skills and knowledge in what they are teaching and many of them have connections with the industries that are involved with hiring students in the field of study.*(4)
