申的是 food science & Technology

8：30-9：00 作文 what discovery do you think in the past 100 years is benefical most to people in your country？

接下来就是面试，20分钟一个

我是10：40

面试官 Pro. Wang Shu 是生物的研究方向，知道的是一波人的食品、药学、生物的都有他在面试！总共面了26分钟，本来是20分钟的，超了。问得很细 之前没有准备到 面经里没有 所以来写一下 具体的顺序可能有出入。

Wang：So you are xxx（我的名字）

Me：yes

W：tell me something about yourself（1，自我介绍）

M：My name is xx，from xx...

W：you mentioned you published your first paper, you are the first author?（接着问我的paper情况）

M：Yes.

W：Did your mentor write for you?

M：No, i just got some advice from him but wrote the paper all by myself.

W：Do you think it's difficult?

M：…

W：Have you applied other universities?(3，问学校申请的情况和为什么申请NUS）

M：yes, other univerisities in US

W：How many?

M：…

W：No other universities in Singapore?

M：…

W：Have you got any information?

M：…

W：Have you contacted any professors in NUS?（4，与导师的联系情况与选导师的问题）

M：Yes. Dr. Hang.

W：How did he reply?

M：No reply. But i think it's ok because it's said the committee makes the decision.

W：Yes. So, how do you choose lab once you are studying at NUS.

M：I will see whether the professor is nice

W：Nice? nice to what?

M：Nice to students

W：（示意我继续）and then?

M：And talk to her/his phD students, find out whether the research i'm interested or not.

W：Of course. You know, in the lab you have to communicate with others. What if you can't get along with others?

M：I will think about the reason. Why. if it's my fault, i will applogize if we have argument or adjust myself. if it's his/her fault, 卡住了！I will see whether he did it purposely...

W：blabla（纠结细节）

W：If your professor give you a direction, vague direction. What do you want to begin your research?（大意是给个大课题，怎么做研究）

M：download papers related to this field first.

W：到哪里去找pape，找怎么样的，接下来怎么做，然后又接下来怎么做？

搞得我比较晕。我举了个例子，结果他就问你为什么想到做这个，为什么别的人没想到呢？你知道世界上聪明的人是很多的。

反正这个教授非常喜欢刨根问底，如果专业一样，方向他懂的话。
