帝王谷学院（Imperial Valley College，缩写IVC）位于加利福尼亚州帝王镇（Imperial），是一所公立社区学院，成立于1962年，在校学生7千多人。帝王谷学院也是加州社区学院系统112所学校的一员，校园占地0.65平方公里。*(1)

Overall Experience: I've taken some excellent courses here that I have learned so much and there were a couple of them that were very interesting but did not help me in the long run and also those courses that I still have nightmares about. I think it all comes down to what you are personally interested in and who is teaching the course. There are some great teachers at IVC but I have taken classes from a couple of teachers that make me ask myself why are they teaching here. There are a lot of classes to choose from but if you are one of the last to register then it could be a hassle to get into a required course, general education required courses. The class sizes are some what ridiculous but that's how it is at all community colleges.
Overall Experience: Lets face it, most people are here to get there general education requirements over with because it is much cheaper to do than going to a university and doing them there. Most people just want to graduate and go to a university or transfer to a university. If you are looking to get an AA in a field then thus is the place to go but if you want a BA or MA then look elsewhere
Academic Experience: Teachers know what they are teachering, and they stick to their syllubus.*(3)
