• The student apartments are clean and spacious, and right across the street from the grocery store. Very convenient.This town is really friendly and beautiful, too. I live it here.
• Campus Resources: My School – My school is small But they care for their students, that show intrest in learning. They have helped me when I needed help. (tutors). I love my school
• Campus Resources: while the facilities do not include a library or an actual gym there are some reconstructions going on at the facility to fix the physical fitness center. the Tech support however is very excellent and we have the fastest internet here in valdez.
• Academic Experience: As far as I know, I may be the only one right now going for the Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences through first getting an Associate's through PWSCC and then transferring to UAA for the rest of the classes. It's unusual, and I know it will take a bit longer, just because I have a full life of work and family, and therefore can't take a full course load every semester, but it works for me.
• Student Body: There are all types of students here, older like me, typical younger students, and moms and folks taking classes to improve their work situations. There are lots of things you can participate in on campus or in the community, but no pressure to do so.*(4)
