Student Body: I'm not really interactive with my student body or any of the clubs, compared to how I was at Northern Illinois when I attended. The student body and clubs there at the university were more inviting and interactive, as for South Suburban there more amongst themselves.
Academic Experience: There are so many different areas of study to choose from. It was hard to narrow down the right program for me but I love the variety unlike some schools.
Academic Experience: Very different atmosphere to be a music major here at South Suburban. The spirit as a whole is opposite the university experience I had previous to attending South Suburban.
Academic Experience: Academics vary from subject to subject. You have the music program, which is great in perspectives, sciences, mathematics, and many more. A lot of these majors are good kick off's for the students to experience before they transfer to fulfill their bachelor's degree. The workload can sometimes be a bit much, but isn't that how it always is? The school does have a fantastic tutoring center which is available all day for the student to receive free tutoring in almost all subjects. The registration process can be frustrating. The online data bases are not up to date, and lack the speed and accountability to carry the school's data and functions.*(4)
