• Purpose of the project was to introduce 4 proposed methods to toughen epoxy resins, including liquid rubbers, engineering thermoplastic, inorganic and performed particles and polyorganic siloxane
Produced high quality bio-oil from biomass using fast pyrolysis May 2008- May 2011
• Designed and developed the process, including Feeding system, Reactor, purifying system and collection system, Hot Vapor Filtration (HVF) was investigated to filter the solid particles and bio-char
• One hundred and twelve different chemical compounds were detected by GC-MS, also measured Water content, Acidity, Density, Heat Value, Viscosity follow ASTM( American Society for Testing and Materials)
• Analysis and evaluation of the quality and process. The paper has been published by Bioresource Technology (2011)
