我目前美本大三下，刚刚出的期末考试发现成绩不理想，想大四时候拼一把，不知道大四上成绩对申请还有用吗？我们学校一般十二月中旬左右出成绩。

大四上的成绩有用，而且还很重要：

第一，十二月中旬，相当多的学校都还没有截止，你是可以等到大四上的成绩出来再递交给学校的；

第二，即使十二月中旬截止日期早过，尽管不像澳洲和英国，但还是有的学校会有条件录取（conditional）的。当你的GPA不足的时候，学校仍然可能以录取你为条件录取状态，后续待你的GPA提高到学校的要求，就正式录取你。这种形式的学校并不少，比如俄亥俄州立大学；

第三，即使你单凭大一-大三的成绩申请，学校决定录取你之后，还可能仍然会让你递交大四上成绩的。有的学校只要这个成绩一出来，就会让你递交。在部分学校这直接关系到有没有奖学金的问题。

UIUC的政策是这样的：

“Applicants enrolled in the final year of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in the United States or a or comparable degree program from a recognized institution of higher learning abroad, and who meet the GPA requirements stated above will be admitted conditionally pending receipt of final academic credentials showing the undergraduate degree as conferred.”*(1)

就是说，UIUC是适用第二条的。不单是大四上的要递交，大四下的都还需要递交。UIUC的正式成绩单递交的时间，一般都是晚至研一上学期的递交的，一旦发现问题，就将取消学习资格。原文作：

“All credentials uploaded to the online application are considered unofficial. You will only be asked to submit official credentials (transcripts, academic records, diplomas, certificates of degrees, etc.) if you are admitted. These must be submitted during your first term of enrollment at the University of Illinois in order to continue beyond the first term.”*(1)
